Calico Games

Staff is nice and will take care of any of your needs and have good advice. The people that work there are great. The fact that they give absolute bottom dollar for cards and the fact they sell foreign cards but will not buy them is the reason I give this a 1 star rating. Not very convenient being one of if not the only place in Mt.pleasant that buy cards from customers.

I just found out Calico had replaced Game On in this same location. There's a lot less inventory than I remember when it was Game On, but their singles selection is fantastic. Best I have found in the area because they don't just carry modern, all eras are represented! Most places only carry modern or straight vintage Pokémon, mid-era is non-existent.

Usually I just go with my oldest son to pick out new games but we took our littles in to pick out their own dice. They were so excited and wanted to look at everything! The people working were so nice and didn't rush them at all even though they had a tournament going on. They found the perfect dice and even little bags to keep them in!

Have shopped at this store regularly since its opening, and bought a mixture of singles and boxed product. Fairly priced for buying, trade in and condition for MTG, boxed product is reasonably priced outside of wholesale spikes, friendly staff and good events community. They are very transparent when assessing card condition and do so in front of you for purchasing or trading, and will happily have a second staff member cross check if there is a discrepancy.

This is a great little card and game shop. They've got a large selection of many TCG cards, accessories and care/storage supplies, a huge assortment of tabletop RPG supplies, rulebooks for an array games, many other obscure and unique card or board games, as well as a pretty sick selection of vintage video games, consoles, and accessories. They host TCG games there as well. I'm in there weekly, and I mostly go in looking for rare or hard to find Pokémon cards. There's always many to choose from, and they get different cards all the time. If a showcase card interests you, they are assessed and valued in real time so you know it's a perfectly fair deal. They usually have boosters and other sealed products available as well. The guys behind the counter are quick to assist you in any way you may need, and they're always very friendly and courteous. Picture included is this week's haul. 🤓
