Boba Hero Lvl Up

Run away from this store there are way better options. They don't care about the players they sell everything way above market price. There are still stores out there that honor msrp for players.

Card collectors beware! Came in to look at their pokemon cards, and saw everything was above market. Asked the owner or the one who decides the prices if they had any room, and they have some bs about going by tcgplayer, despite none of their prices coming close tcgplayer prices. For example they had 100 dollar DR bundles, but those bundles aren't even close to that price. Their singles are also 20% above market. Avoid at all cost for buying cards! Just go to Eternal Forge in the same mall.

First time visiting Boba Hero looking for cards for my collection, and it was a frustrating experience. I found an Alolan Vulpix (Toys "R" Us promo) priced at $39.99 and asked about flexibility on the price. The owner stepped in and set the price based on TCGPlayer, dismissing eBay sold listings as "all over the place." Fair enough — except when we pulled up TCGPlayer ourselves, the LP (Lightly Played) price for that exact card was $18.01 (last sold 7/11). The owner had already admitted the card was in LP condition, not sealed/NM, which is what would justify the $39.99 price. So his own stated pricing method didn't actually support his number, and he wouldn't budge anyway. I also noticed other cards priced well above current TCGPlayer market value too: - Squirtle (First Partner) tagged at $44.99, while TCGPlayer shows recent sales around $26-30 - Mega Starmie ex tagged at $70.99, while current TCGPlayer price is closer to $50 (looks like it was priced off numbers from a few months ago) Adding one star back because one of the employees was genuinely helpful and personable — felt like talking to a fellow collector. But the pricing practices and inflexibility left a bad taste, and I won’t be back here again.

This is a Great little Anime store. I was drawn in by the large Optimus prime statue and was not disappointed by what I found. The place has a wide selection of anime merchandise from figures and model kits to Tee Shirts, wall scrolls, cosplay Items and more! I wholeheartedly recommend looking into this place and am Glad to see more places like this showing up to keep malls alive.

This was my 1st time in this store and it was very organized and clean and had everything laid out very nicely! The gentleman running the store was very helpful and kind! I would recommend this store if you or a family member has an interest anime collectibles.
