Been going here for about 2 weeks for the MTG/Commander nights while I've been getting back into the game, and everyone is incredibly nice! Really good selection of TCG singles with ample kiosks to look up stock and the website has all their inventory if you need to make an order at home. Clean shop, huge selection, equally huge play area for event nights. Weekend hours open til midnight so it's convenient to pop by after work if I wanna get something for the monday budget commander nights. Wednesday night commander was PACKED so it's clearly got a good little community between the store and their Discord. Pretty cheap snacks and drinks to boot. Getting back into MTG I obviously have a lot of silly questions and the staff are always really cool and knowledgeable about it. Event nights have a nice mixed crowd for younger and older players who have also just been really nice people so far. All in all it's a real wholesome place to go be a nerd. 10/10, highly recommend popping by.

First off, I didn't have a bad 1st time experience. I actually found the place to have a vast selection of board games, and plenty of space for gameplay in the back. However, for me, I wasn't able to find what I had come in for which would have required a larger variety of dice, and a couple of games they didn't sell. Also, being someone unfamiliar to the store, I never was greeted, or assisted as I walked the store. Those at the counter were pre-occupied speaking with what appeared to be regulars, and not wanting to interrupt, I never approached the group. However, in their defense, I was a one-off customer who doesn't normally travel that part of DFW, and was only visiting to see if I could stumble across a couple of "goodies" in passing. So maybe, for those who plan to visit often, this location may be a place to make new friends, and explore new games.

Twelve years ago, I visited Boardwalk when it was a fledgling store in a much smaller location. Recently upon moving back to Texas, a friend of mine reminded me about it and so I took a look and low and behold, new location, larger space, new crowd. It's been great to play some classic Legacy MtG during the week. Customer service is great, online and in-store orders are fulfilled quickly, and the tournaments are run smoothly. Parking can be a bit difficult during the week, but I've not failed to find a spot in the main parking lot the past two months I've been going. The board game selection is vast, they have some that can be played in-store before deciding on a purchase; that's a great touch. From what I've seen there's miniatures, painting supplies, and the like for that as well.

Visited Boardwalk today with my four year old son. I am learning how to play MTG and my son really likes the TMNT cards. We went into today to get some Raph cards and packs. The employees were super helpful and explained how everything worked to me with ordering singles on their computer. 10/10 going back. Great employees and really friendly people!

Visted this awesome shop Carrollton recently and was blown away by how much they had! They had multiple aisles of different board games, one of the larger paint sections I've seen in a game store. There is a whole wall of their different MTG rares on display, and 2 kiosks to easily find and pick out the cards you want. They have not 1 but 2 large gaming sections, with the one in the back having tons of board games to play. They have a wide variety of different TTRPG books and a plethora of different dice for each one. Definitely check this place out!
