Stan the owner is friendly and helpful but the other guy with red hair they have working here ruins my experience every time I stop in. This isn’t just my opinion either, he constantly degrades customers and treats everyone and everything like it’s below him (brought some friends in that were just getting in to Magic for the first time and he treated them like they were idiots). Honestly I was driving 25 minutes to come here because they have a well structured online ordering system but after stopping in this week and being basically bullied by the red haired guy I don’t think I’ll be back. Stan you should seriously consider firing that guy!

Been there to sell my collection since I needed money and was just into the hobby, and I got paid out really low I had priced out my stuff beforehand i didnt speak up cause I’m an anxious person but man do not go there to sell or buy, literally everyone in that store act likes asses towards paying customers lol. Overall horrible experience dont go unless u need to.

So I ordered the new Doom Prevails deck to be shipped to my home before the release date of the 26th. I received an email on the 20th stating that my payment was received and was expecting a shipment date after the 26th. I then sent an email to the support email on the 30th politely asking about an update on the shipment of the deck and received no reply. I once again was being patient and sent another email to the support email on July 2nd once again being polite and explaining that I was still waiting for an update on shipment and once again no reply. I then called on July 7th and asked about my order and all they could say was wow I don’t see how that got away from us. So I warn you if you order anything of their website DONT! They will not ship it out on time and make you wait and then kinda of just shrug everything and pretty much say whoops my bad. Especially after receiving nearly $100 for an order and don’t trust their support email they won’t respond to you so don’t understand why you have one if you’re not going to answer it. Also looked through reviews and this will probably be a pointless review because they don’t even try and respond to people on here. Be more professional!

Stan the owner is friendly, really takes care of the people and makes this a good space for kids too. They are reasonable for prices on TCGs and have tons of extras. We love playing release days here! Worth a trip in.

Boars Hat is hands down the best local game store. The owner, Stan, has cultivated a thriving player base for all TCG's including Magic, Pokémon, Riftbound, and more! All the staff are very knowledgeable. The prices are always fair and product is usually abundant. The shop is clean and kept in good shape with space for 100+ people so play will always be comfortable, even during an 80+ player pre-release event. There's plenty of parking. The environment is very family friendly to all ages. The store is constantly improving and always open to suggestions as well.
