My son visited this store, and unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience. Despite reading some of the negative reviews and noticing how they were responded to I decided to give the store a chance. As members of the Pokémon community, I believe we should look out for one another. In my opinion, the prices were not competitive, and some of the cards raised concerns about their condition and authenticity. If you’re new to collecting Pokémon cards, I’d recommend checking out other well reviewed local shops before making a purchase here.

Never have had to do this. As a collector of 30 years, I’m dumbfounded. Sold me a resealed $250 Greninja V Union with actual resealed packs. 5 people with me saw the state of the box and packs. Truly unacceptable for a shop with such high reviews. I’ll take the loss, but I’ll never refer a soul back here. Response to Owner: The fact I have to take the time to send you this, ruffles my feathers. Interesting. I did inspect the product, and the reseal wasn’t obvious until I opened it. That’s exactly why I left a review, to accurately describe my experience. Whether the product was intentionally sold that way or it slipped through your buying process doesn’t change the fact that I received a resealed item that was represented as new. A phone call after the fact doesn’t erase the inconvenience or the experience I had. I’ll lose the $250. That’s how life goes. Reviews exist so other customers know what happened and so businesses can identify areas where their quality control failed. If your process includes purchasing products from customers and reselling them, then it’s your responsibility to verify what you’re selling before it reaches the next buyer. My name is publicly displayed here, and your merchant systems could help you easily identify and contact me. If you wanted to rectify the situation, you would’ve.

This place is so cute, they had a lot of pokemon and cute pins! They also have this mystery slab with graded cards in them. And I love that idea! I think it’s so fun! I’d definitely come back!

*DO NOT COME HERE* This has to be one of the worst shops in all of South Florida. Store staff themselves are okay, the owner has previously scalped prerelease product to resell over the market value. The only thing worse than the prices are the tournaments. Any store credit earned cannot be used towards entry to another tournament. You have to use store credit the second you get it. Multiple players recently tried to use their store credit from previous events and were told that there was no written record and that it was their fault for not keeping track of their prizing. They keep record of the store credit in a spiral notebook, not even in the system itself. They also don’t pay out 100% on tournaments because they hire multiple judges who make consistently incorrect rulings, argue and are rude to players. Imagine a room full of players competing (some of them judges themselves) yelling back and forth with multiple judges who cannot admit when they’re wrong. This lead to unfair advantages and illegal game actions / game states throughout an event. This place should not be sanctioned for play pokemon events after the what unfolded after this past weekend. If you want to scalp cards for a living by all means go ahead but this place has no business running competitive tournaments.

My daughter is a HUGE fan of BLAST Toys and Gaming. Everytime we visit from NY this store is one of our first stops. Such nice employees as well. Highly recommend.
