Black Dog Enterprises

If I could put 0 stars I would. This man is insanely rude for absolutely no reason. I went in looking for My Little Pony merch, he shows me these blind bags that I was interested in. As I’m looking at them he’s lording over me watching me look. Keep in mind I’m a small teenage girl. I pick up one of the bags and look at the back to see the characters you could get, he immediately snatches the bag out of my hand and starts yelling at me, “ARE YOU LOOKING AT THE CODES, ABSOLUTELY NOT, YOU ARE NOT TO LOOK AT THE CODES ON THE BAG”. I tell him I was simply looking at which characters I could get, he says ok and hands me back the bag, I end up buying 4 of them for $20. I end up not getting the ones so I went back, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Next day I come in, he takes me to the blind bags, stands over, again I’m looking, I’m trying to feel the bag to maybe get an idea of the ponies shape, he then, again, starts yelling at me, “ABSOLUTELY NOT, MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE IS WHEN SOMEONE CHECKS THE CODES, FEELS THE BAG, OR TAKES TOO LONG LOOKING. IF YOU DON’T PICK ONE OUT RIGHT NOW I WON’T LET YOU BUY ANYTHING”. He then gives me bags that he picked out and says I have to buy those ones. As a small MINOR I’m obviously scared at this point and just don’t say anything and just buy the ones he gave me. All in all I will never go back, he was defiantly on a power trip since I'm a small female. Unless you want to get yelled at and threatened I do not recommend going to this place.

Great place to find a gift for any anime lover in your life. Flick is the owner and has great customer service skills. Vivi is the shop manager and he makes sure Flick takes care of the guest that come through the door. They have lots of things to choose from. 10/10 would recommend swinging by and saying hi and seeing what they have to offer!

Absolutely great store. Very shambolic. Owner and his pet lab were very sweet. Definitely recommend going there if you're looking for a specific manga or figure. No bootlegs in sight! Great experience overall:)

Store doesn't look anything like the pictures, its very messy and not a single thing is organized. There's boxes and all kinds of things everywhere, barely any walkroom. Owner/worker was very rude and wasn't very much help either. Only good thing about this place was the sweet dog inside. I do not recommend.

such an amazing store!! its filled wall to wall with so much cool stuff, you can spend hours in here and still not see everything. one of the best anime/manga/tcg stores i have found in lubbock. the owner and vivi are also so nice and knowledgeable. i can't recommend coming here enough!!
