I am a senior citizen that needed a new cell phone. Was not looking forward to the task as I went to Best Buy in Redding. I was pleasantly surprised when Eric, the employee in that department, was very helpful and professional. He answered all my questions and concerns, found the best phone for my needs, and set the device up so when I walked out the door it was ready to go! His confident knowledge, demeanor and manners were appreciated. Customer service isn't common these days, but at Best Buy , on that day, it is still alive! I would recommend asking for Eric if you ever need to shop there.

Best Buy in Redding, California is by far the best Best Buy location I have ever been to. Their fearless leader Aaron, the general manager, is a true class act and a kind and fair gentleman who helped me out in my time of need. He did something most people would not do. The service is excellent and the products are excellent. I can also say that Destiny in the electronics sales department was knowledgeable, kind, and she truly deserves a promotion and a raise. This place is clean, classy, and offers some of the best products at discounts and sale prices you will not find on Amazon or directly through manufacturer websites when they sell direct to customer. So do yourself a favor, save yourself some money, and have a good experience while you are at it. Please tell Destiny I said hi, and please tell the general manager, Aaron, that I give my best and appreciate men like him who are still around, along with customer service associates like Destiny.

I wasted 7 days trying to get music earbuds. They have a severely crappie selection of wireless earbuds. NOT MUCH FOR IN STORE STOCK. I made the unfortunate decision to buy JLab. The 1dt defective pair wouldn't hold a charge. The 2nd and 3rd defective pairs wouldn't pair with my phone so I could hear both speakers! I WASTED A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME TRYING TO PAIR THEM . I TALKED WITH 4 PEOPLE FROM JLab in Oklahoma for support. They couldn't pair the 2 ND pair so they mailed me a new 3rd pair. I wasted more time and became more pissed off! I took the crap product back to Best Buy and ordered a set of Beats wireless buds. AFTER 8 DAYS I AM BACK TO HEARING MUSIC! I WILL NEVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TRYING TO BUY ANYTHING MUSIC RELATED HERE AT THE REDDING HEST BUY. BAD QUALITY AND BAD SELECTION. AMAZON TOOK CARE OF ME IN 24 HOURS!

Went into Redding Best Buy to purchase a Bluetooth speaker and the sales person didn’t want to sell me one. Not to mention he had a Terrible attitude. I didn’t waste my time. So I went to Walmart and found JLAB party speaker that works fantastic. The customer service at Walmart was excellent too.

Remember when you bought a new phone at Best Buy & they'd connect a cable from the old to the new and pretty quickly your data would transfer? They dont do that now w/o an appt. @ Geek Squad, who are the nicest, most helpful people. Anyone could have easily loaned me a connection cable or mentioned the one i needed was in the box. I stead, they let me hang out in store, attempting to do it myself with little instruction for OVER TWO HOURS. Absurd. What happened to folks who helped? I didn't even want to shop here because of the lack of help I'd get but my phone screen wasn't going to last so in my town, Best Buy is literally the only option. I made an appt with Geek Squad and we figured the transfer would be quick enough done via Bluetooth so I could vacate my appt. Over 2 hours later of waiting and trying to get the transfer done on my own, my appt time came and I was finally able to get some help. The level of service here is wildly lacking compared to what it used to be. Im older so I remember the level of service and can very much see the difference. There were people available at the phone counter who absolutely could have helped but didn't. Im disappointed at such a stark difference from what used to be a vibrant helpful store to what it is now. Im old enough to remember Circuit City in its hey day and I also remember its fall into desolation. Best Buy will always exist if only online but I can see the store ambiance dying
