Came for a new GPS system for our car. Started out ok. But once we got the order started and completed we had to go to a different computer to book the date of install. This took way, way to much time. Best Buy needs a cohesive system to work this process better.

My son’s car audio display stopped working. The unit had been installed over three years ago, and the car had been parked most of that time. Unsure what to do, I visited the Lynnwood, WA store, where the staff kindly helped me locate the receipt and directed me to the Northgate location for a quick resolution. At Northgate, Thomas (GM) had Alex take a look at the car. Alex was incredibly friendly, immediately got to work, explained the issue clearly, and took full ownership of fixing it. To my surprise, Best Buy didn’t charge me anything. In today’s world of online shopping and doorstep deliveries, this experience reminded me how valuable genuine customer service and human interaction can be. The Best Buy team made me feel heard, valued, and cared for. Thank you!

Went in looking to buy a monitor at this local Best Buy. Figured it would be an easy pop in and out as my old monitor went kaput and I knew I'd be walking out with one. The experience sucked... The only person who said anything to me was the woman working in the front section/phone area. (Didn't look like a traditional Best Buy employee) I stood in front of the Monitors for 20 minutes looking at the box I wanted, that was above head level. About 4 Blue shirts passed me for a total of 12 missed opportunities to sell me something. Not one acknowleded my existence, nor asking If I need help or have been helped. I ended up leaving empty handed and went to the Northgate location. (Shouldn't of had to) Had a much much better experience as I was greeted upon entry and was immediately helped on purchasing a monitor.

I forget the employees names who helped me, but I fear I was that ONE customer. I unfortunately was very inconvenient and complicated with my transaction. I bought an 800 dollar laptop and paid with cash (20s) and they were very patient about it. Then I realized I wanted the upgraded version and wanted to exchange it and pay half in cash and the rest on the card. There was no attitude about it at all, I work in customer service and personally, I’d be huffing and puffing at a customer like me. They were extremely helpful and patient and didn’t make it seem like it was a big deal or inconvenient even though I know it was. They also have great sales, better than Costco. These guys rock and I’ll be using this Best Buy from now on. I hope these staff earn commission because they sure do deserve it.

Went here over the weekend to look at a stylus pen for my iphone. I was going to buy it on Amazon but thought I’d get some input from someone before I did, and I figured I’d just go to Best Buy to talk to someone and get one there instead. When I got there I saw four employees in the phone area huddled together talking. Thought it looked funny as there were customers around, but whatever. However, I had to walk almost into their circle before they even acknowledged me. I then asked where their stylus pens were and one of them said they’d help, but it became apparent very quickly that he didn’t really know for sure where they were exactly, as we went on a little field trip as he looked left and right for them. He finally showed us pens for tablets and we asked where they were for phones and he told us they don’t make ones for phones, which wasn’t true at all. I didn’t see a point in arguing with him and it was pretty clear he wasn’t going to be very helpful, so I thanked him for showing us the pens he did show us and he left. I then did a quick google search on my phone and a pen for the iPhone showed up right at the top, sold at Best Buy. I did my own little search as I didn’t want help anymore from an employee. I ended up finding the pen about 10 feet for where I originally asked the question to the employees. Surprisingly, as I was looking at it another employee came up to me and asked if I needed help. I told him that another employee told me that the pen I was holding in my hand didn’t actually exist, and that they might want to make sure they don’t say things that aren’t true so as to not confuse or frustrate the customers they’re suppose to be there to help. He made a bit of a snarky comment back to me and at that point I decided I didn’t need help and that I didn’t want to be at Best Buy anymore, so I left. Management, I came to Best Buy because I wanted some personal interaction about an item I was going to buy, but that interaction wasn’t just unhelpful, it was also rude and frustrating. I have absolutely no plans to return to Best Buy for help and I think I’ll just stick to getting input on the Internet and buying off of there.
