Best Buy - Kalamazoo

I would advise against purchasing a computer through their website. I turns out they are not clear on what computers are actually sold by best buy, and which are sold through the marketplace. Purchased a Skytech computer with an out of the box critical memory storage failure. Best buy will not fix the PC without spending hundreds of dollars for parts and labor, instead insisting I need to contact the manufacturer to get it fixed. In addition the workers they have scheduling appointments will not explain any of this when scheduling the appointment. The human schedulers are bad, but nothing compared to their ai agent, which will fabricate appointment times or of thin air. Only after calling back to confirm with a human agent did I realized the appointment time was not valid.

I wanna give a shout out to Ethan who helped me with a keyboard lag issue that even the Genius Bar folks couldn’t figure out. He was great. The 3 stars is because they are wayyyyy understaffed. Ethan was working alone and I see multiple names on the screen and people waiting - he’s having to juggle multiple customers at once. That’s unacceptable.

If you have Verizon or are thinking of moving to Verizon go see Alex, Zoe or Tyler at the Best Buy Verizon service desk. We dealt mostly with Alex, he was so helpful, informative, friendly and patient. I have Verizon but needed a new phone and the whole process was so easy and stress free. Since they are Best Buy employees there's no "car salesmen" act like you get at a Verizon store. You still get all the same Verizon deals and plans but without the confusing billing, bait and switch salesmen pressure. I was able to buy a new phone and get it all set up on our current Verizon plan. We will never go to a Verizon store again. Will go back to Best Buy for our Verizon billing, plans and phones.

I didn't think much of Best Buy until our couple recent visits that changed my mind. Ryan Suender was fantastic, he genuinely was an expert when it came to TV's and speakers and helped us find the perfect fit for our home. He felt more like a friend that happened to work at Best Buy than a random employee. Between the fantastic product selection, good prices/deals, and top tier staff and service we now go to Best Buy first before any other store.

Today i came in to pick up an online order and two girls helped us. I wish i knew there names but one of the girls had red hair and the other girl i think was a trainee with purple hair. I absolutely loved our interaction with them today and i hope there boss sees this and gives them both a raise! They were super sweet and SO helpful! Both are a great part of the team there!
