Newcomers beware! Go to one of the other several wargaming stores in town. Honestly I can absolutely respect a store's policy on 3d prints and kitbashes but maybe don't wait until weve just wasted the better part of an hour setting up terrain and deploying before telling us they are not welcome in the store. There is a sign but it is only posted at *one* of the two entrances, and I entered the store and the very first thing I said was "it's our first time here! Hello!" A fantastic opportunity to lay down some ground rules to an admitted newcomer to the store. Our models were out the whole time and the models in question were rather large so it's not like we were trying to hide them or anything. (A single print/kitbash per 2000pt army also. I do understand they were both large models but that brings me back to my point here that we werent hiding anything) They certainly had no problem waiting until we bought 3 drinks *and* a tape measure to tell us however. Otherwise looks like a fantastic place to play. I really wish we could have gotten to enjoy it. Definitely left a poor taste as it was literally our first time playing out and making the drive from New Braunfels. If you look at the other negative reviews you will see the owner always says "we understand we are not the store for everybody, we hope you find the store for you" Should tell you everything you need to know as a newbie.

Great place for Warhammer! Its got great working AC with plenty of space so its not stuffy like so many other shops in town, plenty of free use terrain and tables, chill music, chill movies, chill crowd, no cover charge, reasonably priced food and beverages, and a wide range of selection of merchandise. I will be making this my go to spot for tabletop.

THE spot for Warhammer on this side of town. More tables than anyone else in town, huge area, a bar and a robust area for mtg and other card games. They have an active discord with regular updates and are fantastic at taking pre orders in store.

Buddy of mine picked me up a model from the store. The box displayed the model I wanted but there was a different model in it. Contacted Battle Pub by email and they responded same day. They took responsibility for the error. I live out of town so they sent me the right model by mail and let me keep the incorrect model. I rarely leave ratings on Google, but the service I received compelled me to drop a 5 star. Complete claas acts here!

Amazing spot, friendly staff, amazing layouts, designs, tables. Recommended place for sure. Excellent choice of beer to go along with your hangouts.
