Cute store with a small selection of board games, the usual MTG, Pokemon, and D&D stores, and a pleasantly surprising sprinkle of game paraphernalia 3D printed right on site. They had a few tables for playing games in the back as well as a clean bathroom. Love the cat mascot!

Disappointing experience that cost them a customer. My son sold three Pokémon cards here for $50. Before he went, I had already looked up the cards on TCGplayer and knew they were worth significantly more. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there. He went with my wife, who doesn’t know Pokémon cards and trusted the offer. As soon as I found out, we came back within 45 minutes. The cards were still sitting in the display case. We offered to hand the $50 back and simply reverse the sale. Instead, we waited over an hour for the general manager to show up. After reviewing the security footage, he refused because my wife had been involved in the sale. I understand card shops need to make money. I wasn’t asking for retail value. Even after valuing every card on the low end based on condition, I still came up with about $92 on TCGplayer. A $50 cash offer is on the low end of what the industry pays, but what really bothered me was the complete lack of transparency. In my experience, the better card shops will pull up TCGplayer right in front of you, explain how they arrived at their numbers, point out any condition issues they see, show you comparable sales, and then explain what percentage they’re willing to pay. It’s transparent, it’s educational, and it helps new collectors understand how the process works. That didn’t happen here. The cards were simply devalued for condition, a buy price was given, and that was it. Maybe that’s how they choose to do business, but I think they missed an opportunity to teach a young collector instead of treating it like just another transaction. They had every right to stick to their policy. I have every right to spend my money somewhere else. They lost a customer over a situation that could have been resolved with a little common sense, transparency, and good customer service. We won’t be back. Edit for owners reply: Thanks for the response. I never disputed that you have an “all sales are final” policy or that your buy rates are posted. My review was about the customer service, not your right to enforce your policy. We returned within 45 minutes, the cards were still in the display case, and we offered to immediately return the $50 to reverse the transaction. You chose not to make an exception, and that’s your prerogative. Regarding the manager coming in, the employees told us he was already on his way because the store needed him for another transaction. Regardless, I appreciate that he took the time to review the situation. I was simply disappointed that there was no flexibility despite the circumstances. I’ve shared my experience honestly, and I trust other customers can read both of our perspectives and decide for themselves.

Today. EBT overpriced. I made it a point to mention how scalpers have ruined it and he said yeah scalpers nothing else just scalpers cause he is a scalper in my opinion at this shop. Very limited supply, very limited inventory and overpriced. Again, just my opinion I’ve only been at this hobby with my nephew for the last three years so fairly new but still, I know what things are selling for. Shame

Not a local, stopped in on while on vacation. Came in half hour before closing and staff were super nice, knowledgeable, and very accommodating! Prices were reasonable, so not sure why there’s a lot of negative reviews here— seems like there’s a lot of folks who are trying to get a matching deal or just want to bash a small business for no reason. This was my first time coming here and will be coming more when I can (because of the kind staff 😎) 10/10, would recommend— definitely don’t look at the other cringe reviewers and just get what you need, or don’t.
