Anime City

Just went in, no workers in sight, all the games are blocked off. Walked around the store for about 6minutes. No assistance. The new expansion in the store looks nice. But is focused on cards now. Not video games. And literally no way to browse or look at games or consoles if you are a collector. Weird to have games on a shelf, and no one is allowed to get close enough to see them.

today I brought in a 2006 Mew card that I was going to try to sell, and I had already scanned the card with the TCG player app and it valued the card at $185 and then whenever I went in the guy had looked at the card and said that since there was a scratch on the front and the edge was bent a little bit that they marked the card at like 70 something dollars and that they could only give me $56 in trade or 40 something dollars in cash so I had asked to trade with two other cards that I had and as well as paid the remaining like $19 after taxes to get a commander deck box for Marvel and I ended up getting the doom prevail box. Well I had called the store to ask them if I could switch the boxes because I ended up getting the wrong commander deck cause it was for my boyfriend‘s birthday in the next two weeks which they said it was fine so whenever I went up there to switch out the decks and I was looking at the single Pokémon cards in the case, the other man behind the counter stated that they had just gotten an $150 mew card. I know that I accepted the trade-in offer of the $56 but I feel like it should’ve been more especially if they were gonna turn around and sell it for more than what they told me that it would end up being worth. Will probably be going to Players Den from now on instead.

Cool store. I visited when they were moving so didn't get to see everything but will be back another time. Pokemon was a little pricey though :( but everyone was nice. Thank you.

The store was so cool and clean!! Lots of great anime merch, Gundams, unique pop figures, etc. Staff was super nice as well! We were passing through but we'd make the 4 hour trip just to visit again.
