The staff was lovely. But Nina ANIMAZED me! After some confusion with whether an item was in stock or not, she went above and beyond to help me track it down. I haven't had customer service that good in a very long time. The shelves were stocked and the store was neat. Can't wait to visit again with friends and family!

Y’know I really love this store, and I love everything they have to offer. Their manga, figures, merch, etc. is so much better than anything else available in the area! Although, I really need whoever reads these reviews to genuinely take this into consideration and listen to me and other people who have these complaints. Your employees are too aggressive. I come into the store and I get greeted three times in a row and feel extremely bombarded. I understand the retail experience and boosting sales/preventing theft is important. If someone follows me around the store while I browse that’s completely fine. I just can’t stand when I’m trying to quietly browse and look at everything you have to offer I’m being hunted down by 6 employees! It wasn’t always like this either!! I remember when the first store on Glenwood was super busy all the time, me and my partner would just go to hang out and I was always willing to spend a good chunk of change at the store. The employees (who I never see anymore) were always super friendly and outgoing but knew their limits when it came to asking questions and letting me enjoy my shopping experience. I will continue to support the store, because I want to support the small business. You guys have a great selection and fair prices. But I have noticed declines in business here, and many of my friends agree that it can be anxiety inducing, overwhelming, and hard to shop. Sometimes when I’m bored on a Wednesday afternoon and I’d like to browse for 45 mins and I am asked 16 times if I need help finding something? It definitely makes me unlikely to pick the store as my usual hangout spot like it used to be. Again, whoever reads these please take this into consideration. I’m not being negative, I’m not upset, and I still love the store because I know at heart it was made by good people who wanted to build a community. We see that through ibashocon and other small events you continue to vend at and support. But your store fronts and the way your employees run them feel like nothing they used too and makes it hard to come back. [edit: I’ve also noticed many similar reviews on the Glenwood location and Smithfield location as well. I would like to have a genuine conversation with someone regarding this matter, rather than an apology or something of the sort.]

Great place to skip the Import fees, and get some direct Asian-Fandom Merch! Like a year-round convention dealer room! They get new items in quite often. Not as cheap as "Like New" online shopping, but you can buy with 100% confidence. They do a nice job of covering old and new works. A good meeting place for animanga fans of all eras. And always nice and welcoming.

Ato was amazing. Gave me the whole rundown on the business. Let me know about the loyalty program and how it works. The explanation of the stacking affect was perfect. Also knowledge of product is spot on. Will be returning. The selection is amazing. Cute things I saw attached.

WOW! I had just came from one of their other stores because this one had Hololive figures. What a great selection of official merchandise. So many options in figures from many anime and game titles. Tons of great Miku figures, plushies and other items. The people of Raleigh are truly lucky! We have a anime store in Virginia Beach but nothing on this level. Scale figures are very hard to find in my area so you just have to take a chance ordering online. The 3 hour drive here just for these stores is worth it. The staff were truly nice here. The store was well kept. Very clean!
