Bad Day at the Alamo: My family has been regularly attending this theater for the last year, and the experience has been generally average. I like the atmosphere and the (adult) drinks are often strong, but wish the seats reclined further, the tray table lights were dimmer, and the prices were a little more reasonable. However, yesterday I had a particularly poor experience that may lead to us looking for a new theater. To start, the food has seemed poorer of late (despite the high prices) and on this occasion both our popcorn and fries came out cold. When we politely informed the waitstaff, they told us they 'weren't sure why the food was cold, since it sits under a heat lamp before coming out,' and they seemed reluctant to bring us a fresh order (despite barely touching the food). This was the first time I have ever talked to the staff about the freshness of the food, despite experiencing this frequently enough we have determined a list of things that we simply 'don't order' (I have, sadly, never gotten an order of chicken strips that were fresh or hot). The faint attitude we observed was particularly surprising in an establishment that prides itself on hospitality---I don't know why your food is cold either, but it is... why are you trying to tell me that I'm wrong? Additionally, there was a technical glitch halfway through our movie that resulted in a five minute pause. These things happen and I appreciate that (presumably) the staff worked hard to quickly get the movie restarted, but I was disappointed that nobody addressed it afterwards. The film was further disrupted when the the pause caused some patrons' closed-captioning devices to be out of sync, meaning after a back-and-forth with the staff (during the film) they had to leave mid-movie and transition to a different showing. In all, I was dissapointed by this experience, and I am concerned about how frequently I feel that way at this theater. I go to the movies for an immersive, pleasant, exciting experience, but it seems that this Alamo is losing their touch.

I really had a decent experience and loved the food and beverage service to your seat as you watch the movie without missing any of it! They are pretty sticklers on no cellphone usage and checked our tickets while we were in our seats which doesn't usually happen in an older theater. I would have also preferred if the seats reclined all the way back. Overall It was a fun night out!

This is our favorite cinema! The place is always clean, the reclining seats are very comfy, and we always get to watch the movie in peace. No need to worry about other people ruining the movie ! The only con is the food. Ever since they changed the menu, the food hasn't tasted as good anymore and it's very expensive. However, you do receive your food quite fast!

Like most of the recent reviews, I’m a long time visitor of Alamo and deeply disappointed in the recent changes at Alamo. It leaves me questioning if it’s worth it to pay a premium for an experience that has gone so far downhill. - the QR code and online ordering system does not function well AND it is very distracting during the movie. Alamo was known for being strict about people pulling their phones out but now you can see the glow of everyone’s phone as they’re requesting food or a refill - speaking of the online ordering system, I’ve had issues the past two times trying to get a refill. Last time, my order wasn’t filled and I’m not sure if that was an online ordering system issue or a human issue. Today, I got an error message when trying to get a refill on my club soda and when I just tried to order a new one, the same error message popped up. I decided to give up on it and just be thirsty. - the service now is pretty disruptive - the servers walk standing upright and talk to you to confirm your meal during the movie - they used to crouch and quickly drop the food off as though they weren’t there - staying true to the Alamo brand and emphasizing the movie watching experience - as most others mentioned, the menu has been cut back and I feel the quality of the food is no longer what it used to be. It’s definitely still better than what you’d get at a normal movie theater but you are paying a lot more for it! The facility is clean and the staff is polite, it’s just disappointing the recent changes have degraded the brand I used to love. In today’s age, we’re all comfortable in our own homes and can get good food at home in our comfy chairs, is it worth it to go out and pay this much for something that doesn’t beat what’s available at home? I hope to hear about some positive changes… otherwise I probably won’t be back.

They were the only movie theater I was able to find in the area which was still showing Ready or Not 2 during workdays in the morning. And that was the only option I had to watch it, so I booked tickets online in advance. Even though the convenience fee was pretty high, it was easy to do. I also liked that seating is limited and comfy, unlike the majority chain cinemas. When we arrived, the place was empty, but by the time we were leaving, people started coming in a steadier flow. Bathrooms were clean. There only were 5 of us during the movie, and I liked that they take measures to ensure that guests don’t distract each other from the movie. They have a nice menu and a variety of delicious popcorn. Service was quick and friendly, too. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy much is that they encourage you to come 30 minutes before the show, and once the show is supposed to start, you have to watch 15 minutes of ads first. For the rest, I would pay another visit if I’m in Littleton again.
