A World of Collections: Games Comics and Cards

My go-to place for buying Pokémon cards! The staff is always so nice and helpful everytime I go. 100% would highly recommend!

DO NOT SHOP HERE. These guys are truly team rocket. When you walk in, the store has amazing potential. Until you see the prices. Every pack/box is way overpriced, even for the modern stuff. When you try and buy single cards they have insane mark ups that make no sense. They would be selling 10 cent modern bulk for $1 and even upwards to $5 each. Most places do 25 cents per cards but not these guys. Now let's talk customer service. When you walk in, the guys are nice at first. They ask you typical nice questions to figure out what you like and what you're looking for. But whenever you find a card you're slightly interested in, they won't stop trying to sell it to you. It's very annoying and pushy. Their smile is a façade. You cannot trust these guys. I only recommend coming here to get a good laugh at their business

Polite staff, but significantly overpriced Pokémon singles. Even after discussing & agreeing on condition AND confirming they were using TCG Player as a pricing reference, they quoted me ~$20-30 for cards that were showing on TCG Player for ~$2-8. Needless to say, I left without buying anything and I will not be returning as I felt they were trying to scam and price-gouge me. Please look up your own price references before buying from here!

I used to stop by World of Collections occasionally for singles and supplies, but their sealed product pricing has become completely detached from reality. The most glaring example right now is the Mega Evolution—Perfect Order Elite Trainer Boxes. These are sitting on retail shelves and vending machines for the standard $49.99 MSRP, and you can easily find them online for $65–$75. Yet World of Collections is trying to sell them for $109.99, more than double retail on one of the most readily available sets of the year. This isn’t “market price” or even a modest markup. It’s straight scalping on a product that’s not that scarce. I get that local game stores have overhead, but charging over 100% markup on easily obtainable distro product just prices out actual collectors and players who want to support the shop. If you’re looking for fair pricing on sealed Pokémon, look elsewhere. Plenty of other stores in the area (and online) actually move product at reasonable rates instead of price-gouging. Very disappointed.

Just left the shop for the first time. This place is a banger. Really nice atmosphere with really friendly and knowledgeable staff. I found the prices to be better than average. Nice little quarterly credit program. You get 5% store credit just for shopping. I met Kevin and another guy. I really felt welcome. Just found my new favorite card store! I'd give 10 stars if I could. Cat!
