Goodness Gracious Games

We went there to pick up some common and reverse Holo pokemon cards for our collection. The dude charged us 0.5$ for a common and 1$ for a reverse Holo. Ive seen insane price markups in pokemon before but this was downright the most egregious. It was such an awful experience, especially since I know the dude was looking up the market price of the cards (market price was 10 cents each btw). Then when asked how he get the price like that, he replied 'idk, liddat lor'. You'd think he know why, given that he just searched up the prices. I had also wanted to buy a normal ex card but after being quoted a price 400% higher than market price I decided not. I think he got offended and flung the card like it was trash behind him. Was that supposed to be a power move? There are many other pokemon stores around this area, please just go to any other store besides this one. My personal recommendation is Agora Hobby.

Friendly environment, people there were really nice compared to the other shops where they look like they want you to leave. Definitely a more hobbyist vibe as compared to a strictly business vibe. Owner even me allowed to open the shop unattended lol. The players there even talked to me about cards and their experiences. Thanks for the cards.

Spoke to Thomas about various Pokémon sets over the years. His prices are also great considering they're more a playing store rather than collection. A super knowledgeable dude and I'd gladly come back to talk/play again!

Didn’t expect to receive a rude and poor service from a shop with a name like that, only got to know them by @travisflipspkmn recommendation. Am I wrong to ask if the seller can sell it at market price ? Seller reply was “WHY ! Why should I ? “ it just a crobat v card no need to be so intense bro. If the price doesn’t meet it fine, don’t to talk down and get all emotion cause like that very hard to deal with.

Owner is very friendly and polite. He is also very attentive to my requests and assisted to find cards that I had a hard time looking for. 10/10 would recommend.
