I bought what I thought was a sealed box (pictured below) for above RRP I believe. At the point of purchase (without noticing any defects), I tried to ask for a discount, to which the owner declined, citing that it was the last box. However people on Carousell are selling the item for around 10-20% less. As can be seen in the second photo, the seal has already been torn - I only realised this after getting home and examining the box. From the video it can be seen that the box has been taped back together - however it is very obvious that the seal has already been broken. I think 1) the owner could have been upfront about the damage - don’t think you should be selling open / unsealed boxes without first letting the customer know and asking if they’re willing to accept; and 2) offered a more reasonable price for a set that is clearly not sealed. It could definitely be said that the onus should have been on me to check before I paid and I acknowledge this. However, as someone new to collecting, I think it goes a long way in cultivating customer relationships if the people selling these products are more upfront and transparent about the condition of their products. Willing seller, willing buyer - my bad this time unfortunately. Will not be purchasing again.

This store is awesome! was a bit surprised by the entrance - it seemed a little intimidating at first - but don't let that put you off! The owner is super friendly and made me feel really welcome. They had selections of Pokemon packs at good prices, so I was happy to find what I was looking for. Plus, they have a huge space for playing tabletop games, definitely be back for more! 😊
