Hobby Corner

It's actually a pretty nice place and it's where I got my first kit. Very nice environment and community. The prices on most of their kits are pretty fair. Tho some are 10-20 usd over their msrp. But that's actually ok. At least they are not charging 100 usd for a hg kit, like some other places. They have community build day and restock at the end of each month Those events are worth going. As they usually bring new kits in. Overall it's a very nice place to hangout. They have a nice selection of model kits , official anime figures and goods. Update: They moved to a new smaller location. Their selection of model kits are a bit limited. Compared to what they used to have. The place is more geared towards card games, more specifically Pokemon. So it might not be everyone's cup of tea. But the owner is working on getting more model kits and hobby supplies in. But yeah, they need to go back to their focus on model kits. Because there aren't that many places for model kits. Update 2026: There's even less model kits now. Only a single shelf and not much variety. It's basically a card shop now. Which is a real shame. As there aren't that many shops in puerto rico that carry gunpla or model kits in general.

I was rather disappointed with the service given to me. For starters the gentleman in the register seemed like he was upset and rather bothered by me asking questions. I never disrespected him nor did I interrupt yet he seemed to be upset. It was rather unwelcoming for a first impression.

I was informed that the lot is empty, closed and available for rent. Used to be a great place to hang around and get moelling supplies. Update : a friend told ms that they are open but only taking phone orders at this point and will soon open in a new location.

My favorite gundam store in Puerto Rico. Is a store filled with a great team that treats everyone like a family. The sense of community and the tips they provide to help you learn and understand how to build better is wonderful ✨️

Hobby Corner is a great well kept store where you can find model kits and other anime goods whether you're a beginner or experienced veteran of the hobby. If you're looking for model kits or a friendly community this is the place.
