Istmo Games

As a customer I felt like I was doing a favor to the shopkeeper, that barely looked me in the eyes and checked the prices as if it was a torture. It has a while since I felt so unwanted in a place :( … and I was a customer!

Amazing store, with a great variety of products. The owner is super helpful, I had an issue receiving a Champions Playmat for Pokemon TCG a couple years ago, the owner hadn’t known of the issue between me and the game master. Once he learned of the issue even these years later, he got me the mat. Exactly the kind of people you want in these game communities. + a solid group of people coming to play one piece, Pokemon TCG, Magic and I’m sure plenty of other games. Much appreciated!

First off, don't follow Google maps to get there. The location on the map isn't correct. Tried one day to find it but didn't find it. Asked a friend and it turns out the actual location is in the royal blue plaza. Difficult to find, even once you get to the right plaza. Showed up at 2:35 and it was closed, even though the sign said it was open and google said they opened at 2:30. Maybe it's just something else that google got wrong. I thought I'd go to the website to get the info straight from the shop itself, but the site is under construction and doesn't exist. Either way, made multiple efforts to go check it out and it never worked out.

I am in town for business and wanted to buy a few packs of Spanish MTG cards as a souvenir. This place is awesome! They have a great collection of singles, plenty of boosters from various sets, dice, playmats, and plenty of people playing in store if you care to jam a game or two. I'm sad Istmo isn't my LGS back home.
