Kanto Corner Eltham

Only cater to their towns players and not collectors or out of town players… kinda dumb, we got told to drive out to the eltham store from the New Plymouth for some loose packs only to be told they only favour their players. I get it’s to stop scalpers but we’re just one piece fans collecting for art and husband is a new player. It’s giving celestial dragon…iykyk. New Plymouth owner was lovely and the store was great too. It just wasn’t consistent I guess it seems like the Eltham store are picking and choosing who gets product…

Kanto Corner great service! They stock everything: Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, One Piece, Yu‑Gi‑Oh!, and Pokémon. Richard is brilliant — super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, always helpful, and gives honest advice without pushing sales. The Magic: The Gathering community here is great too. The whole store feels welcoming, especially for new players, and they really put effort into supporting our local gaming scene. Highly recommended!

The team at Kanto Corner are amazing, helpful and eager to assist! Both Sheldon and Richard are enthusiastic about what they do, just really lovely and genuine people. The store itself has heaps to offer from board games, TCG's and the like. It also has a nice spacious separate area for those of us who play games. The team at Kanto have made myself and other players feel important and accommodated each week when we get together to play One Piece. I really appreciate the little community and space they've created :)

Absolutely awesome shop. If you’re into hobby’s, gaming, pop culture, this is the place for you. They have a lot of stock to offer and are getting more and more sets in. The gaming space is great aswell with a heap of space and community events going on always. The cherry on top is how welcoming and nice the owners are, epic customer service and awesome people. If you enjoy hobby culture check them out.

Great shop with a really welcoming vibe. We visited kanto on our way into New Plymouth and it was definitely worth stopping in. They had so many binders of cards to go through which were very well organised, they had sealed products as well, and the owner was super helpful when looking for a specific Pokémon card that we were after. The prices were very reasonable and we would highly recommend this store!
