Vagabond Games Auckland City

Such an awesome store! We went in 3 days in a row while visiting the city. Really great selection of products and we saw new stock being added too. The staff were also v friendly and helpful. Will definitely be popping in again when I'm in Auckland next :)

Purchased Daybreak today and when I opened the sealed box I noticed that a card pack had been damaged. This looks like someone had played the game, resealed it and returned it :/. Considering the game is $120 I feel a bit bummed out as this is my first purchase with the company.

Vagabond Games and Collectibles is less of a retail outlet and more of a curated museum where you happen to be allowed to buy the exhibits. I wandered in with my boys hunting for a specific Rubik’s cube Gundam, but we were quickly sidetracked by the floor-to-ceiling hoard of wonders. It is a genuine utopia for the seasoned nerd. I eventually walked away with some rare Star Wars silver coins that I simply couldn't leave behind. James and Yoshi were excellent guides through the mountains of beautiful precious things, clearly fueled by the same passions as their customers. The analog gaming space in the back is a perfect sanctuary for tabletop fans. My only real complaint is that I cannot physically teleport this entire building to my hometown.

Have been wanting to visit this store for a while to put a new review up, and finally made it. What an awesomely large store crammed to the hilt with gaming gear across the board...really whatever you might be into it should be here! I had a list of miniature paints to pick up and you wouldn't believe it but the top two on my list had run out at Vagabond! My comments weren't printable but I noted this twice to the dudes manning the shop, guys, top up your paints, please. So the pics are mostly miniature paint related, but it is so cool to see a large store supporting our hobbies. You'll get 5 stars when I come back and you have all the mini paints I need...

Really cool store! Tons of Warhammer figures and accessories in stock as well as D&D and Magic. Prices were very good too. The staff wasn’t terribly friendly but perhaps we caught them on a busy day?
