Hobby Lords Takapuna

Taka Store and staff great, online shop abysmal and deceitful. Store staff are great, helpful and friendly. However the Hobby Lords online store is misleading and in stock items are often not in stock. Their system doesn’t sync store stock levels and leaves the customer paying extra for shipping (hidden in misleading shipping fine print). Hobby Lords HQ do not care about customer loyalty and satisfaction and frankly, rude. Avoid Hobby Lords website at all costs. Plenty of competition offers a far superior service and experience.

AMAZING! All The staff here are super fun and friendly. We stopped by during a stag do for the stag to do some quests and they were super accomodating. Great atmosphere in the store, great facilities and all around an inviting place to be. 10/10

I’m very disappointed with how this release was handled. There were around 30 people lining up outside the store to buy Pokémon cards, but the store only had 3 boxes in stock. The staff clearly knew how limited the stock was, yet no one informed the people waiting that most of them would end up standing in line for over an hour with absolutely no chance of buying anything. I understand that the staff are not obligated to disclose stock levels, but a little basic kindness and consideration would have gone a long way. Simply telling people that the stock was extremely limited would have saved dozens of customers a significant amount of time. This isn’t about whether the store had enough stock—it’s about showing respect for customers’ time. Very disappointing.

Had a fantastic experience here! There’s plenty on offer, making it well worth a visit. The staff are always welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to help. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an amazing time at Hobby Lord! Great place for Beyblade fans — awesome atmosphere, friendly community, and plenty of fun battles. Staff were welcoming and really passionate about the hobby. Good selection of Beyblade products and accessories too. Definitely a top spot to hang out, play, and meet other bladers. Highly recommended!
