Card Merchant Hamilton

I will consider changing this review when CM Hamilton is run the way it used to be: with a genuine focus on creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all players. The owner may want to check in with the store’s management, as the current standard of customer service is disappointing. We returned hoping things had improved; however, that wasn’t the case. While the owner and other staff have always been awesome and have a genuine passion, my experiences with the manager have been consistently rude and inappropriate, which doesn’t align with the “amazing” reviews being posted here lately.

Amazing staff my go to tcg . My disability assistance dog is allowed in the store and they know her by name and have even made her a little sign to let people know she's working and to leave her alone. The best store in Hamilton over DNA who won't let my dog

Great store, amazing community, and helpful staff! Ever since I started getting into TCG's and board games I have always enjoyed coming into CM Hamilton. When I was new and had loads of questions about game rules, product releases, and the best way to start it was definitely overwhelming. Luckily for me the wonderful store manager Alicia and her amazing team were always happy to help out which definitely made me feel welcome and a lot less nervous! Fast-forward a few years and I come in every week to enjoy hanging out in an awesome local community filled with great people while still pestering Alicia and the team with questions 🤣 To their credit, the patience has never wavered and their answers have always been helpful, 10/10, Kapai, keep up the great work 😊

I’ve been into this store a few times and every-time I am greeted by friendly staff, most recently they had a big event on, so there attention was devised between that and the counter, but I was served quickly and efficiently. I think her name was Alicia but she was extremely forgiving at how chaotic it was and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable even with a small wait. She was also very knowledgeable and knew when the product I was after would be back in stock! Will definitely be going in again!.

Awesome store! A few mates and I travelled to Card Merchant Hamilton for a Store Showdown event for the new growing card Star Wars Unlimited, and the team was very helpful and professional with their organisation. Thanks for a great event, looking forward to going back sometime!
