Card Merchant Dunedin

The people that work here are a very rude, abrupt & don't have a single clue what they are selling or anything about games. I went in here to ask a question that I thought someone that works here would know & the only reply I got was shrugging & nothing else,. They're not welcoming or helpful to customers or to people that are new to TCGs or looking for something else board game related. If I could give a rating lower than 1 star I would.

A great card and games shop. There are super friendly staff that are extremely knowledgeable on the games they sell. We learned a new game and felt extremely welcome all along the way! Jake was generous with his time explaining and teaching us, as well as inviting us to the plethora of events for locals and guests! Big nice space for free play, and lovely vibes throughout. As a game lover, this place felt like home away from home.

Really friendly staff who are knowledgeable about games like Grand Archive we hadn't played before. Jake was super helpful and even taught us the rules and invited us back to practice at the shop, which was awesome. Visiting from the states, we loved how much it reminded us of home and had a fun, inviting, nerdy atmosphere. Definitely stop by to support if you like tabletop!

Quite possibly the nicest and most welcoming staff I've met. Filled with knowledge and passion for the wonderful worlds of card games. I would recommend asking the bloke who works there about grand archive if you are eager to learn because he knows all you need to hear and he will share it with a smile on his face. 10/10

I love how helpful all the staff are, in pointing us toward various TCGs, or accessories. It's a great place to also come and play with friends, with great space in the back for any game you like! As Nathan said, we love coming up and supporting the store!
