It is a typical public market in a working class hood. Nothing special or outstanding. There are sone gems of deals to be found in the shops around.

Usual neighborhood city market where you find everything from meats, bulk seeds, cremería, sweets, independent flower market, a little bit of everything. Not the largest but quite adequate. The southern side of the market is well known for serving mariscos and is well attended.

Amazing experience with all the local culinary, piñatas, chicharron, pollerias, everything. Very recommended to visit if you would like to see real mexico city citizens. Do not expect a fancy place, this is a real one instead:)

Well, it's not a supermarket, so don't expect an HVAC system of red carpets. However, everything was clean, the smells were so nice, the sights were an explosion of colour... And if you are hungry, look for this lady with the facial scars, near a tortilla mini - factory: she has the most delicious, most juicy barbacoa that I have ever eaten in my life!
