100/10 Recommended The whole place has a super friendly atmosphere and the service is excellent. If you want to spend some time playing a board game with friends or family, this is the ideal place, or if you're more of an adventurer, you can join a table they host every week to play D&D.

I came to Mérida on vacation. I'm just starting to explore the world of D&D, and to continue my research, I looked into a store and found Codex Arcana. I walked from my hotel to the store, which is centrally located. They had just opened, and a lady greeted me, answering all my questions and giving me a tour of the beautiful space. I'm sure other stores, far from being envious, would admire the effort and ingenuity with which they set up the tables, walls, logistics, and especially the exclusive table, which is truly phenomenal. I bought some miniatures and a set of dice as souvenirs. If you're on vacation like me and have time to visit or reserve a table, I think you won't forget the experience. Congratulations to the owners!

I was staying across the street and stopped in this place. Friendly staff showed me around. Great vibe and set up, people having a good time. My friends and I stopped by later to play games and were welcomed. Good (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks.

Came by on Thursday afternoon after 3 pm and the store was not open. 😢

The first and only playing Merida where you can gather with other players and find a broad selection of classic, popular and even niche board games, from Dungeons and Dragons, to Vampire and Paranoia. Kind and friendly staff will greet you once you arrive. Step in to find new adventures, if you dare. Hopefully Warhammer 40K.
