Serious Business
Abbeyquarter North, Sligo, Co. Sligo, F91 YNC5, Ireland, F91 YNC5 Ireland

Serious Business, where the business is never serious! We are a LGS/Venue. We opened late 2019 just before the pandemic started. Fortunatly we managed to survive up to now and are now focusing on rebuilding our community now that restictions in Ireland have been eased. The shop has 3 floors, 1 merchandise floor, 2 event floors available for rent or for our events. We can seat 64 people, however, we are still young for a LGS.

Over the last year we have been pushing FAB, all the staff here are MTG vets, FAB is the first TCG we've had personal interest in. We have managed to build a local community of FAB players, which will now allow us to host GEM events regularly.

P.S. - I think you guys are epic! Legend Story Studios have been really helpful to us, as a young LGS we didnt have a lot of displays on the walls, you guys fixed that for us, all your playmatts and products are greatly appriciated!

Kind regards - Kieron Harrington, Serious Business

Serious Business is a fantastic little spot. Great selection of board games, tabletop RPGs, trading cards and more, and the staff are very friendly and involved with the events and the community in the store. Community is a strong part of hobby stores and the Serious Business is full of friendly and accommodating people, staff and patrons alike. Highly recommend popping the head in to say hi :)

Nice little shop, great events and gaming area. Staff is very friendly and their boardgame selection has grown nicely over the last few years

The place is a complete illusion that's success relies solely on manipulating and taking advantage of people and the good will of the community. This is the second time I am writing this review, the first review got me banned from the premises and the discord server, I took it down because I missed the friends and family I have that hang out there, I was unbanned because I took it down. I haven't been back to the shop or the discord server since my initial ban so I'm putting the review back up. It's a shame that 'Serious Business' is a play on words and it's a shame it's run and owned by a deplorable person. Anyone that wants to know all of the details is welcome to ask!

We had a lovely visit! We thought tgey were closed but they were open! We reccomend updating the opening times as we were worried they'd be closed. Lots of space, impressive stock, way better than what we've seen in Dublin. Reccomended by a regular, who we met on the train from Dublin! We spoke to Seán at the counter, who was very welcoming and friendly. We hope to visit again!
