Wild Ways

Gatekeepy and judgey when my partner and I went in, we moved to Newark recently and because we’re not “regulars” we were looked down upon by the lady that was at the till… I do understand because of the state of the hobby but it’s really unfortunate to have been met with that attitude when we’ve been collecting for a long time. Shame it’s the only centre that we can find for TCG in Newark…. In response to your reply - It was definitely this shop, this visit wasn’t recent it was actually a few months ago but got reminded of visiting by google so wanted to leave my feedback. You were unwilling to sell to us as we hadn’t visited before, and felt overly unwelcome with everyone in the room turning and staring at us. I just wanted to leave an honest review of our experience.

Only found Wild ways in the last 12 months but glad I did. The owner is always welcoming. Not clicky which is nice. And never charges above retail which is rare these days. Top place to go.

I have been part of this community for over a year, and I have never felt more welcome in a place. No matter what tabletop game you are in to, you are welcomed by the players. There are frequently games for newbies. Everyone wants to help you learn their game. It is just so lovely. The owner is the most welcoming of all. She will help you with anything you need.

Wonderful place! Kind people, varied stock for many types of people! Definite recommend!

Ive recently started visiting and became a member playing games here, this place is fantastic and run by someone who cares about what they have built. If your interested in board games, wargaming, TCG's, RPGS, it really is the best place in Newark. They were incredibly supportive of a new game being brought into store, helping me find people to play with when they really didnt have to. Thank you wild ways, keep being awesome!
