great cafe, get the white chocolate cookie, and a mocha (yes im a glutton) very friendly staff

Really nice bookstore located inside The Liberty in Romford, with a great atmosphere. While the surrounding area isn’t the nicest, the store itself is well kept and a pleasant place to spend time. The best part is the café upstairs, it’s quiet, comfortable and perfect for reading, working or studying. Definitely a good spot to relax and get things done.

Great shop if you are looking for gifts, presents or just a book for yourself. Well organised in here, and friendly staff. Make sure you visit.

Came into the shop to buy Pokemon items but was told there wasn’t any left when I clearly saw some behind the counter. Was blatantly lied to and then saw people were actually sold the items. Staff were rude and dismissive never been treated like this before. Disgusting shop and disgraceful members of staff who work here. Avoid this shop at all costs. Take your kids to a nicer bookshop. Appalling.

I had a book launch at this branch a couple of years ago, and it was such an amazingly positive experience. The events coordinator, Sultana, went out of her way to promote the event to the community, and the launch itself was amazing. Everyone I met here was so dedicated and passionate about literature and community. Great place!
