Trainer Legacy is an independent, community-focused trading card store based in the heart of Colwyn Bay, North Wales. We specialise in Pokémon TCG, with a large and constantly changing selection of English and Japanese singles, graded cards, sealed products, accessories and collectables. What makes our store unique is the experience we provide. We are not simply a retail shop—we have created a welcoming space where collectors, players and families can trade, learn, play and enjoy the hobby together. We regularly host trade days, learn-to-play sessions, casual events and community evenings designed to support everyone from complete beginners to experienced collectors. We also actively purchase collections and individual cards, helping customers value, sell and preserve items that often hold years of memories. Our team has extensive experience in card identification, condition assessment and the wider collectibles market. We deliberately retain a strong level of sealed stock for our local customers rather than placing everything online, helping protect availability for the North Wales community and reducing the impact of scalpers and immediate online sell-outs. Trainer Legacy is built around trust, knowledge and a genuine passion for the hobby. Our goal is to become a long-term home for the local TCG community while providing a professional, honest and memorable experience for every person who visits.

Trainer Legacy is easily one of the best TCG shops in North Wales. If you’re looking for Pokémon cards in Colwyn Bay, this is definitely the place to visit. The shop has a brilliant selection of Pokémon singles, sealed products, graded cards and accessories, as well as other TCGs including Lorcana, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Riftbound. What really stands out is the amount of singles available and the fact you can actually come in, browse properly and talk to people who know the hobby. They also buy Pokémon cards and collections and have always offered me really strong prices. I’ve sold a lot of high-end singles and sealed products to them over time and have never had any issues. They also offer trades and run regular TCG events and game nights. Really good to finally have a proper Pokémon and trading card shop in Colwyn Bay. Well worth visiting if you’re anywhere around Conwy, Llandudno or North Wales. Highly recommend Lewis and Callum at Trainer Legacy. 👌

All the chaps in the shop are great, very helpful and amazing with my autistic son. Being local to Colwyn bay it was great seeing a pokemon shop open up. As my son wanted learn how to play the game, Callum helped build his deck from the single cards up for sale and then played him to show how it's done. It's now his favourite place to go on a Saturday to spend his pocket money and he's even able to go the till and pay as he feels so at ease with the guys working there.

Hands down the best Pokemon card shop around. Something Colwyn Bay has needed for a very long time. Lewis is the GOAT and brings a level of knowledge and experience that clearly shows in how his store is run. The amount of singles is crazy, something I’ve not seen before in a shop and they’re prices are always spot on, they’re happy to negotiate on deals and I personally have sold and bought from them a lot. 100% trusted and should shop with confidence.
