The Nerd Hut

Phenomenal experience at the Nerd hut today running dnd today. I booked an upstairs table for my group. The staff are super friendly and genuine, and incredibly accommodating. We were able to stay out late to finish the game. They even let us being food into the store. There is a community on discord too, so you can stay in touch and keep track of events. A wonderful store. I'll be visiting often!

The Nerd Hut has been the most welcoming place to be in. It has a wide range of items available to purchase and the owner, Bridie, is incredibly welcoming and friendly. We bring our children here who enjoy the space too and the owner gives time to ensure our children are having a great time even though it isn't something they need to do. It has become our regular place to go to and I can't imagine being anywhere else to play and shop for board games and card games. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place we truly love.

Such a fantastic store to have in out town centre. Not only for all the nerdiness and geekiness, but for the friendly approach of all staff. The store goes way beyond a shop. They have build a community here and the owner is one of the most welcoming and inclusive person I've met. Great for all TCGs, boardgames, paints etc.

Nerd Hut is so warm and welcoming, Bridie is such a wonderful person. You will find basically everything you need for card games here, even packs and boxes when they are able to get stock. They also have a points system so you are able to get reduced prices if you become a loyal customer. I recoomend everyone to drop in even if it is just for a look around.

Fantastic store. A great range of comics and trading cards. All sorts of events going on throughout the week. The staff here are brilliant, always happy to discuss cards and comics, or help find comics you’ve been looking for. Most importantly for me is the fact that my four year old daughter is always made to feel welcome. Bridie always makes the effort to chat with her as much as she chats with me, asking her about pokemon and helping her find cards with her favourite on. Lots of similar shops have a more “grown-ups only” vibe but everyone is welcome at the Nerd Hut!
