The Staging Post is one of the oldest and longest running pubs in Airdrie and as of 2026 is under new management. There's been several attempts to bring it back to life by various owners but it's clearly now in very good hands. The owners seem to really understand what was needed and they're delivering a classic Scottish pub experience. The food here is good and simple with a very stripped back, inexpensive menu. This is very much a compliment since it makes it more accessible and edgy than other local pubs. The Staging Post now offers entertainment, which is varied, fun and very appealing. Compared to other local pubs which offer live singers, the Staging Post entertainment is all about the party and the fun. It's worth checking their social media pages to keep up to date on what's happening. Lastly, the staff are absolutely exceptional. The service is friendly and they seem to genuinely care about the customers. I really appreciated that when the server came to check if we were enjoying our food and ask if we needed anything else, she also told us about the entertainment over the next few weeks. We felt like it gave the personal touch to the advertising, like a personal invitation. It was a lovely, unexpected touch. I will definitely be back!

Had a fantastic meal at The Staging Post with my family. The Sunday roast was absolutely out of this world – cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. The portions were generous and it was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great too. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a quality meal. You won't be disappointed! Highly recommended.

Never had a bad meal. Menu is reasonably priced. Staff are great and give recommendations off the menu. Also, it's good if you're going out day/night drinking
