I called in last week to get some Pokémon cards for my nephew’s birthday. The store assistant told me that they have a 3 item limit for Pokémon which meant they still had stock. He also told me about the Pokémon kids club that they run for free on a Saturday morning which my nephew will love. The guy on the till, (Joe?) was really helpful and took time to explain it all the different games nights etc that they do. It’s nice to see independent shops doing well and creating a space for the gaming community in Lincoln.

Always friendly and helpful to me. Great prices with a reasonable limit, which helps the community as a whole by having products available most of the time instead of feeling like you have to rush there before it's all gone. Removing seals also disincentivises scalpers from taking product from people who actually want to use it. I appreciate their philosophy

Went here for the first time today and it was a really pleasant experience. I’m quite new to pokemon and not very confident so I was hesitant to go up to the cashier and ask for some advice. I very quickly felt comfortable and the man (I sadly did not ask for his name) was really nice and welcoming when explaining everything. They have a 3 pack and 1 other item limit on Pokemon products, which I find really good as it effectively challenges the current struggles of ordinary collectors/players trying to buy packs due to scalpers, and they were quite well stocked than many other shops. The shop offers more than just trading cards, they offer a space for tournaments and allocated times for children and new players to learn both about the game but also cards in general. I would really recommend the games store if you’re looking for a community space or to buy trading cards (they offer Pokemon, digimon, marvel and more) and would definitely come here again when in the area.

Came in this morning with my daughter to introduce her to Pokémon and get a pack of cards for nostalgia so she could experience the childhood thrill I had. The person working there was so friendly and helpful and told us about the child friendly groups they run. Only slight problem was I couldn’t get in the door with my wheelchair but the staff made sure I could get what I wanted from the door so it wasn’t an issue. Will 100% be back!

Couldn't ask for a better local game store. Coming every Wednesday for one piece is always a joy and I've always appreciated the store doing their best for us players and fighting the scalpers not alot of game stores would do that. I highly recommend it to everyone who's looking to get into playing TCG!
