The person who served us on Tuesday was amazing! Me and my friend traded our Pokémon cards and a half booster, and the whole transaction was super quick. We got fair prices and cash straight away. Great shop, I’ll definitely be popping in regularly to check out their slabs!

Don’t often write reviews! However, Greg & Hannah and the entire team at Spawn Point are absolutely fantastic! You are all so kind, friendly, patient and understanding, and have created a space where people can be themselves and enjoy their hobbies! From high end to low end, sealed and singles they have a great range for everyone and at fantastic prices too! I’ve done many deals with them, always honest and fair with values! I always leave the shop with a smile on my face and usually a banger of a card! Thank you all for being your awesome selves! 🤝

Fantastic shop with friendly staff and wide selection of pokemon cards. Shop is bright and airy with lots of space to browse. Good mix of modern and vintage cards too. Prices are what you expect to pay for some of the harder to come by sets and never feel as though I am being ripped off. Always my first stop when coming to Cardiff.

Hello, I wanted to highlight an exceptional experience I had in store today. I brought in my son who has autism spectrum disorder and loves Pokémon, but really struggles in stores, especially at tills and with asking for what he wants. I must be the luckiest mum in Cardiff because the man on the till also had autism, and was absolutely phenomenal with my son, who even had the same name as him! (Won't share just in case). He radiated pure joy explaining and sharing his love of Pokémon aswell, and even pulled an old mimikyu card from behind the till that he was saving for himself to let my son buy instead. My boy left with zero stresses or meltdowns, and was even asking to come back! Very rare since he heavily dislikes stores especially in malls. I can't praise this man enough, he was so patient, kind and helpful, and went far out of his way to make my son comfortable. As a side note, I love that he was comfortable enough at his workplace to wear and autism lanyard and talk about it openly, I have feared for my sons future in the workplace, and this gives me a touch of hope that there's still places willing to hire and work with those with disabilities. I asked if his boss was in (which I think scared him a little, if so I apologise!) so I could mention to them but unfortunately missed them. Hopefully this will reach them instead. Typing this as I've just got my son settled with a promise of returning when he next has pocket money. Much appreciation from a SEND mum!

If you’re even remotely into collecting, this shop is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear the place is run by someone who genuinely cares—both about the collectibles and the people who come in looking for them. The Pokémon selection is seriously impressive. Whether you’re hunting for sealed packs, rare singles, or just starting your collection, there’s something here for every level of collector. The Funko Pop lineup is just as exciting—rows of figures spanning everything from mainstream favorites to harder-to-find exclusives. What really sets this shop apart, though, is the owner. They’re incredibly attentive (in the best way possible), always ready to help track down specific items or chat about the latest releases. You can tell they’re passionate, even if they hover a little—it comes from a genuine place of wanting customers to have the best experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, the stock is constantly rotating, and there’s always something new to discover. Whether you’re a serious collector or just browsing for nostalgia, this shop is 100% worth your time. Highly recommend—this is the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to
