Raven's Hall Games

Hidden gem of a game store that I stumbled across as a complete newcomer to Magic: The Gathering. From the moment I walked in everyone was incredibly welcoming and patient, nobody minded taking my first ever game slowly so I could learn the ropes properly. That kind of community feel is rare and really appreciated as a new player. The format is great value too, paid entry gets you a pack, and I was lucky enough to win two more in the raffle on the night! Cheap cans of drink while you play is a nice touch that keeps things relaxed and social. The location itself is a bit of a hidden gem, you wouldn't stumble across it by accident, but that actually adds to the charm. Once you find it you feel like you've discovered something special. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone curious about card games, whether you're a complete beginner or experienced player. Top stuff!

Its not a bad little place but the lack of most stock is irritating. Good shop if you are a mtg fan. Watch what you say aswell as random players will overhear you and try to get you thrown out just because you dont agree with them

My husband loves this place. He says the atmosphere is nice and chilled, the folk who play here are great and the owner is lovely. Great little game shop with a lovely community.
