Friend asked a simple question and was given nothing but condescending abuse and basically thrown out the shop, what an attitude to have for a small shop. Won't be surprised if it's closed in a year. No wonder shop was empty. #edited# let me add more context for you. We were down from Aberdeen, was at a card show just outside Perth so thought we'd check out the local shop. We came in, waited patiently til you had dealt with the other couple of people in the shop who sounded like they were being spoken down to aswell I might add. And then my friend simply asked the question do you take trades in. Now he doesn't know what we have but for some reason assumed it was pokemon(,it wasn't btw) and then started speaking to him like he was lord of the manor. A little shop and was wanting to email someone pics and details of what they have. What do you not have any time in your busy schedule to do it yourself while it's right in front of you? You are a Tcg card shop if you had any clue how to run a shop you basically lost any custom you could have had I know 99% of people will not email you if you aren't interested there and then they will just go elsewhere. My friend said it on a sarcastic way with a smile on his face and you just went off on one. With a young kid there as well to add in and escorted us out and slammed the door.

Really friendly family-owned card store. In terms of supply there is a good mixture, it's a small store but the stock keeps growing with a good mix of all the major card games. The owner and his son are very friendly and Hella chatty so you know you'll not feel awkward there. They have planned events most days of the week but there's more than enough tables so always room for some extras. Often the cheapest cards of decks around (either locally or online) . Very friendly to all folks, and neither the owner nor the staff stands for any discriminatory behaviour I recommend you visit.

This shop is amazing! The location is perfect and the service is incredibly friendly. My son is obsessed with investing his money in Pokémon cards, and there’s truly nowhere better to go. The owner is fantastic, genuinely friendly and curious every time we walk in. He takes the time to get to know his customers and always offers expert advice on the best cards to buy. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Absolutely amazing place, has a great selection of products that has been growing even in the short time I have been going here. The owner is brilliant, great to have a chat with aswell! Myself, my partner and friends have been going consistently for awhile now and have felt welcomed from the very start!

I never write reviews but my experience at Paper Dragon was so bad that I felt the need to do so. I'll start off by saying that the location of the place is good. Now that's out the way onto the bad parts. First off the booster prices are far too high and when people have questioned it the owner blames everyone but himself. Don't mind paying a bit extra but when it's reaching scalping levels that's taking the p!ss lad. My main issue is with the owner, both online and off he's just got a real nasty attitude. I seen this myself firsthand and he likes to send threatening private messages to customers when he gets the slightest bit of negative feedback. No doubt he did it in private because he knows writing it in public would cause backlash. All for supporting a local business and love to see a new card shop opening up but not like this not when the owner treats people the way he does. I've been in a few times now and was excited to support until I saw the way he treats people both online and off. Now I'm ashamed that I gave them any money at all. Would rather go back to Highlander to be honest.
