Went in last week to meet friends. A lovely place, Luke and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely coffee and a cracking mince pie. Nexus is a fabulous friendly/ homely safe place to while away a few hours in comfort. Not your usual mass produced minimalistic coffee shop! Brilliant that Nexus has a great supply of games and books to have a look at. Well done Luke, will visit again. Have a great Christmas.

Nexus is a lovely space serving coffee and delicious fresh home-made food. I have lunch there most weeks and it is a good place to meet up with friends. It has comfortable seats as well as a games area. Often there are craft activities on offer. It has a very inclusive feel and the staff are friendly and sensitive to diverse people of all ages. I feel very welcome whenever I pop in. I really like the decor as well - particularly this fabulous gothic harmonium organ that is great fun to play.

Every town needs a Nexus Games; Torquay is lucky to have it. A board games cafe at its core, but a community hub for every walk of life; providing a safe space for all types of people and interests. All with top quality of coffee, food and a sense of belonging at affordable prices.

Interesting little cafe and club, the food was very good. We had the Loaded Nachos and Chilli, Cheese Jacket Potato, Tuna Toastie and Cheese, and Ham Toastie. Interesting selection of homemade milkshakes. There was also a small retail part for selling D&D goods with some sofas and tables for playing.

I only really go on a Friday to play Magic:The Gathering. There is car parking available around the area and free parking nearby after 18:00. Haven't really tried much of the food but the cake is nice Drinks vary from £1.50 upwards Cost £2 to sit down and play with friends Which I don't really like. I would prefer to sit and play for free and purchase refreshments instead. A charge would be more acceptable if there was a special event on. I believe it is dog friendly too
