You can tell this shops main focus was comic books and other comic book related stuff which is cool. From what I could tell, they've started to branch out into Pokemon TCG. They have sealed product and some singles but give them some time to get a decent collection of stock in. No bulk stuff to sort through

I went into the store today with my family. We was met with 3 members of staff staring at us as if we was going to run out with everything in the shop (I get keeping an eye on people but this was a rude straight face judgmental stare) no 'hello' or 'good afternoon'. They all stood behind the counter covering all the stock that was there so no one could look at the stock behind them. When we asked if they had sealed Pokémon stock we was told rudely 'no' that was it. They didn't say if they had other stock we might be interested in to upsell or give a date when they might have some. We then witnessed them selling stock to a person 3 minutes after we asked them. We left as we felt uncomfortable and went to the store opposite and had a great experience there. I did go back to the store later in the day as I did like a card they had on display. They were charging 16.99 for this card when I looked at prices the card was listed online for as little as £5. I asked politely if they did price matching or offers on their singles and was told again with a blunt rude 'no'. At that point I was annoyed at the customer service we had received twice and left. I told my family member about what just happened and as I look back I could see 2 members of staff laughing at us. We wont be coming back and will be telling others to avoid this place.

I was very excited to discover they have opened a new store in Winchester, but unfortunately they seem to be struggling to stock it particularly over Christmas. No new comics since opening have appeared which is disappointing, no back issues on shop floor as was previously stated by the staff on a number of occasions again disappointing to see nothing. The staff seem a bit hit and miss with approaching customers away from the counter. Hovering around Listening in on conversations rather than asking customers for help. Which I found surprisingly rude and intrusive. Comics seem to be a bit overpriced compared with other stores. One perk is that they sell the comics bagged and boarded, which might explain the premium pricing. The company website is also lacking any content and products which I would imagine does not help.

I bought a comic in the Basingstoke store for my son and an hour later when i met my wife whilst shopping she told me my son already has it, so back to the shop i went to either refund or exchange to be told comic were non refundable. I was shown a sign that was probably 8 feet above the till, too high to see, saying comics were non-refundable. My gripe is that i was not told this when i purchased and it was not on the receipt either, the sign was too high to see as well!! I had not open the packaging and it was in exactly the same condition as when i bought it, really poor customer service to not offer a refund or exchange on something bought an hour ago. Will not use again for future comics or shopping in general, tempted to ring trading standards because a sign 8 feet above the tills seems a bit scammy to me. Simple mistake not sorted means you have lost a customer. Only posting as want others to me made aware of this because it not explained in a legitimate way to me. EDIT………UPDATED REVIEW IN REPLY. I have included 2 photos because the owner said the comic was new and the chances of me having it already were slim!!! See the included photo of BOTH the same comic, you could have at least looked at it to see it was in exactly the same condition and packaging as when it was purchased an hour before! The advertising is WAY above the tills and not in eye vision view unless you are a giant. Very poor reply, you need to either tell people this before they buy or have clearer signage that is not beyond eye level to avoid these types of review or loss of custom in the future. UPDATED RESPONSE……… Two points…….. 1. On your original response you basically called me a liar saying “you doubt i already own this comic as its only been out 2 days…….then when i show you a photo you change/edit your reply!!!!! Why not just say this when i was in the shop rather than change your reply to suit your narrative? Very sneaky! 2. Your shop is a 45 minute drive away which im not doing for a £4.65 comic.
