GEEK RETREAT HOBBYCRAFT NORTHAMPTON

Fabulous little cafe, went into the shop below to look for crochet materials and ended up sitting upstairs here for a coffee. Barista was helpful and the coffee was lovely- looks like a great location for tabletop games as well. Highly recommend!

Located within Hobbycraft. A good selection of games for you to play. Excellent coffee and cake. Happily go again Nice staff. Tables for 2 to 6 laid out in different configurations so you can chose depending on which game you want to play or just relax.

Awesome place to go,the milkshakes and bubble tea are great. Super welcoming to new players for the games on offer. Really got a community going for it. Staff are lovely and knowledgeable. If any of the hobbies it advertises you might be curious about this is absolutely the place to come try them out.

Geek Retreat Northampton is a fantastic cafe if you love playing card or tabletop games! There’s always something going on such as Magic Mondays, Warhammer Wednesdays or D&D Sundays and community driven events. My son and I love Warhammer Wednesdays and playing MTG on Monday evenings. The staff deserve special mention, Emily especially who always goes out of her way to help people, no matter how busy she is. They’re consistently friendly, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the community they’re supporting.

Cannot praise and thank the team at Geek Retreat enough. They're kind, helpful, knowledgeable and very patient with my 100 mile an hour Neuro-spicey daughter. We have loved attending the Saturday 'learn to play Pokémon' sessions. Diego is wonderful with the children. We have met some lovely families and will keep coming back. 10/10 in all areas. The coffee is lovely too.
