Gear Head Games

I have been in on 2 occasions now and have been talked by staff in a rude way. When I ask to sell some cards they then tell me its only trade in. Change the sign if that is the case.

I go to gearhead every week to play. I find it a very welcoming and pleasant place to be, The staff is really nice and usually the patrons are too (bodily hygiene is unfortunately an issue in this community but its not the stores fault really) Their singles for MTG are on their website to look at, There is no display or folder for MTG in the shop (except the two display cabinets at the back for high end cards) They do have Pokemon folders to look at though. The shop is quite small so I dont believe they would have enough space for more display.

Visted here from Ireland recent as someone who is new to magic the gathering and I cannot commend the staff enough, amazingly informative and approachable people , specifically I delt with a staff member called Wayne and he was beyond amazing, I truly cannot recommend this place enough specifically because of the staff and their knowledge of what they have in stock/ what they will have in stock

I came into store today for the first time and left empty handed and very disappointed. When we entered the person working there ignored us, no welcome or greeting he just continued speaking to the other customer who was sat in at a table. I looked at some of the merch that was on the shelves and the Pokémon singles and MTG, there was no help offered, not even him asking "is there anything in particular you are looking for?" I had screenshots on my phone of some MTG Final Fantasy cards that I had seen online and had no idea where they were, I was opening boxes to look and again no help given. Sadly I left empty handed, which is such a shame as I love to support an independent business and I have no plans to return again.

Lovely shop. Great staff. Just wish the patrons understood why deodorant is important. Went in and nearly gagged. Got my merch and got out of there.
