First time in Nottingham, down from Scotland for a holiday. Popped in to play a few hours of Magic the Gathering with the wife. Very polite and friendly staff. The burgers we had for supper were very good, we had a second each and worth the money. Would definatley be back to play some Warhammer on their gaming tables on the next visit.

It was my Mum's birthday and we needed some playing cards. I saw Games Haven were open but by the time I got there they seemed closed. I saw someone inside and they happily opened up again for me! Not only did they have multiple cards to choose from but I also got a great game suggestion which I also bought and have played at least 10 times already! Great service, lovely staff, just a genuinely welcoming business that deserves more than 5 stars!

great venue. Really friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and a great cup of tea!. I didn't eat there but the food that others on my table had looked and smelt amazing, and was served straight to the table by the chef. I am definitely making it my regular gaming hangout.

Very underrated, hidden gem vibes. Good 3rd space to hang out and socialise with friends for a very affordable price - particularly without alcohol being involved. It’s a bit off the beaten track and down an offshoot road so could be a bit tricky to find, but definitely well worth it. We played board games for several hours and it’s a very reasonably priced per head. Free teas and coffees included with very cheap extra food and drinks. Pretty cheap and cheerful, nothing fancy, but really good for a nice, chill, laidback hang. Board game selection is pretty good with lots of the newer ones from the last 5 years. We got to try 7 Wonders, Everdell, Wingspan, Splendor, Azul etc - plus lots and lots more. Staff and volunteers were absolutely lovely - really friendly and welcoming and it feels like a very supportive, inclusive atmosphere. Really neurodiverse friendly too. Unisex bathrooms in individual cubicles and all of them have free menstrual products which is a very inclusive touch too. They also offered a large warhammer room, extra space for game play, and calendar of events - plus upstairs space too by the look of it. Pretty small selection of games and features to buy so if you’re specifically looking for that then you are probably better off somewhere else. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would go back for more laidback, easy, affordable nerdy hangouts.

Absolutely excellent venue for Wargaming. Not far from Nottingham town centre (an easy walk or you can park outside). A very welcoming and inclusive space
