Forbidden Planet Derby

Certainly the best shop in derby for manga, comics and graphic novels and they have a large selection of other cool nerdy stuff too. I love everything about this shop but unfortunately they have high prices on the books, but then offer 3for2 on them. It wouldnt be much of an issue, but as is the nature of manga and comics, they will rarely have the exact volumes that i want and if i want to get a more expensive book, i either need to find 3 in stock for a similar price, or get ripped off. This has become a big issue for me so i dont really go anymore and i buy online instead, but if your in derby, its definitely worth a visit anyway. To forbidden planet, please fix the pricing structure on the books. Id love to be able to come and pick up all the books i want without having to put stuff back because it doesnt work in the 3for2 offer. If you want people to buy more, why dont you offer 25% off when you buy 3 books?

The young gent with the glasses behind the counter is lovely! I believe his name is Hawk? (Sorry for forgetting if that's not right, I have a terrible memory) But what is memorable is that he's an absolute star, and works so enthusiastically and kindly that I even overheard about the deal you do every Wednesday as he was serving the customer in front of me. Said customer also took the time to compliment the shop before he left. Please don't let him (or any of you, you're all lovely) burn out, your people are so lovely 😭

Strong contender for the best Forbidden Planet excellent service, knowledge & charm! (especially from the Stylish Manager who I spoke with briefly) Love that they have a small independent/Local artist section. Just great vibes all around with lots to choose from and did I spy Warhammer coming its way soon. Very Excited!

Forbidden Planet Derby is a great shop with loads of cool stuff. I bought a really cool bag, and I genuinely love it, great quality and exactly what I was after. The store is well stocked, easy to browse, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I could not believe my eyes. Welcome back to Derby!! Massive manga selection and easy to find what I wanted quickly as everything is organised so well. Such a big selection of items and general need stuff. Ill be buying some Christmas gifts this year from here no doubt!
