Forbidden Planet Cambridge

Every time I’ve visited this Forbidden Planet, I always seem to find something new that catches my eye! They usually have all the latest editions of comics in stock, as well as plenty of back issues stored in the back room. So, if you’ve missed an issue, there’s a good chance they may still have a copy available. They also have a very impressive selection of action figures at reasonable prices, with different options available depending on the quality and budget you’re looking for. On my last visit, they had issues 1–15 of the new Invincible collection, and when I mentioned it to people at other stores, they were shocked that this store had managed to stock so many! The staff are extremely lovely, polite and helpful. They interact really well with customers, which makes you feel like you’re building a connection with them rather than simply being served by a salesperson. The store itself is a great size, with plenty of space to move around, making it wheelchair accessible and comfortable to browse. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re a comic, figure or pop-culture fan! You never know what you might find.

Really helpful staff and great range of products. My daughter loves anime and gets all her collections here, I also like they have classic pins, posters and all sorts. Great for any fan of anime or even films!.

A great destination for comic book enthusiasts. The store offers a nice variety of comics, collectibles, and some board games as well, making it an enjoyable place to explore.

A must-visit place in Cambridge for anyone who loves comics, cartoons, and pop culture. Forbidden Planet has an amazing selection and a fun atmosphere. We loved browsing around , it’s easy to lose track of time here!

This shop is far bigger inside, than it may appear from the outside. The shop has a massive selection of manga, including lots of import titles too. It also sells a wide range of other products, such as toys, figures, cards etc. The staff are friendly and helpful, and are happy to help you find something that you can't find in the shop. Overall, this is a brilliant shop, with easily the best range of manga in the area. Well worth a visit.
