Forbidden Planet Bristol

very friendly and inquisitive staff. I asked for about three or four different books and they took the time to look for them and weren't snarky or dismissive. lots of good signed books, and a few bargains.

The best forbidden planet I have been to (I've been to the one in Cardiff and the two in London) but this ons is just so wonderfully organised. It's spacious, everything is neat and tidy and so much easier to find than in the other stores. Nice and clean too! Plenty of light so you're not walking into a dungeon, the staff are spectacular and really know what they are talking about and will go out of their way to help. It's never so busy that you can't do what you need to do either (at least when I have been). An amazing range of products and I've never left disappointed (I have the other stores). Will make the drive to visit this one!

Went to forbidden planet for a quick browse and unbeknownst to me my wife was buying me some Pokémon cards for our anniversary (something I have not collected since I was a teenager) when looking at some of the other cards Valorie asked who my favourite Pokémon was and gifted me a card! She also showed me her folders and told us other places to go to now that I'm getting back into collecting! So friendly! Thank you Valorie :)

I go to this place for mostly Pokemon TCG but also for my other nerdy interests. The product availability of TCG currently is great if you are willing to buy Japanese and buy single packs like me. More significantly the staff here are absolutely lovely. For example one member recognises me and always says hi and discusses the TCG but the other day there was a staff member who I had never met, and they were also very kind and let me pick the art of the pack I wanted. I also appreciate how this store puts Pokemon TCG into the hands of collectors and especially children.

So much selection here and it's so well organised. Would recommend to horror, anime, and any pop culture fans!
