Ordered two Pokémon TCG Pitch Black Pre-Release Boxes (, £46 total) with a confirmed collection time of 12 July 2026. I was only able to collect on that date as I was visiting on holiday. After I couldn’t collect, I asked them to post the already-paid items to my home address. They replied saying they would “get that sorted today.” Since then I have received no update, no tracking, and no refund. Follow-up emails have been ignored. Their phone number doesn’t work and messages on Facebook and Instagram also go unanswered. Poor communication after taking payment and making a clear promise. Would not recommend if you need reliable order handling or responses after the sale

If this is the future of Blackpool's hobby shop scene, then it is incredibly dim. Owner will go out of his way to set up schemes to nickel-and-dime you at every opportunity, while preaching "business costs" and "following other shops trends". Here's a recent example. They held a mini painting contest, for those who don't know what that is, tabletop games usually use small figures to represent characters or units and they can be painted very intricately. The prize for such was originally advertised as £50 store credit for first place. 11 days later, after 14/25 of the tickets were sold, the prizing was halved. Fazcules cited this as "a perfectly acceptable policy". I'll let you be a judge of that. There are many other interesting policies that go on here. The membership scheme costs you £10 a month. This'll earn you the ability to book rooms for tabletops and to be able to pre-order product, which is fair, but the main point of a membership is a 15% discount on most products! Which is enough to be able to buy things at RRP since everything is marked up 15% anyway! Won't get you RRP on some products though, as Faz needs your money, so he'll be selling some product to you at secondary market price (+15%!) What doesn't help either is that they need a "champion" scheme, which selects some players as a medium between the store and the player community, which in practice sounds great but actually translates to cheap labour as in my experience, the staff isn't trained on how to run tournaments across multiple games. God forbid more than one is on and there's more than ten people playing across two games, as apparently that's "chaotic" and "really busy". Think twice about travelling for a small tournament like a store championship or a summoner skirmish either, they might boot you from the pre-registration in favour of a local player that didn't remember to register. If reasonable prices are so expensive to keep up, how is Faz opening a new store in Preston city centre, right in front of the uni buildings? Be sure once that's open you'll be getting gouged in there too. Hope that won't kill off the hobby too badly for those folk, as Preston already has a shining example of what a store like this should look and operate like. (And another, which has its issues, but still isn't this bad). Unless there's some kind of dramatic change of heart, I’d advise to avoid at all costs, even though they act like it, they're not the only place in driving distance.

Really pleasant experience. Got 3 chase cards from my first 10 packs too 😆
