Great store with a very wide range of games and expansion sets. They have tables for people to come and play games too. The setup and decor makes it a paradise for gamers.

Been going for a few years but was extra nice this weekend! We were interested in learning magic and the guy who helped us was so nice and gave us a starter deck to learn. My partner went back tbe next day to get some boosters he enjoyed it so much. Thank you :)

I will echo the previous comments concerning attitude of staff at FB3 I recently went in to look at the latest Magic cards in the binders. I’ve done this numerous times and have never once had an issue. However, on this visit I was immediately profiled as a prospective thief by a ginger bearded dude working behind the counter; whose attitude was, quite frankly, disgusting. I initially politely asked if he minded if I looked through them and which binder was the best for rares (as they had more folders this time). I only collect the more valuable cards and the binders used to be organised by rarity/cost. He passively aggressively tells me they’re organised by colour so he doesn’t know. Okay. I went to sit down at a table as normal, where he then shouts “sit where I can see you”. I said I would have sat in front of the counter but the table closest says “reserved”. He responds “Sit there”. As I say, I have looked and purchased cards in these binders many times and have NEVER been spoken to in this way. He clearly has zero interpersonal skills, did not want to be there and should not be in a customer facing role if he is this mad at life. I get that thefts are rife these days, but there are ways to approach customers in a way that eliminates the risk without hostility. His tone and demeanour were borderline accusatory. I’ve been a long time customer of FB3 and regularly bring friends here to buy product. However, that will be my last visit.

Wonderful! We went there to play boardgames while waiting to board our train. The Piccadilly station is 10 minutes away. At £3 per adult for all day hire, it was affordable and cheap. They offer a range of snacks and drinks at a very cheap cost. They have a variety of games but we chose Carcassonne and Escape The Dark Castle, both were very enjoyable! What a true gem within Manchester! Plus, staff are super lovely, friendly, and happy to help.
