Dicing With Life

I have to say I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience in store today. I arrived before opening times to try and secure pokémon 30th anniversary items. When I got there they said they hadn’t actually priced up any of the items yet and they were looking online at “market value”. In other words scalpers value. In the end they were charging over triple the price for each item based off what they were going for online. I think this is such a disappointment from a shop that should really be supporting fans/collectors given that it’s their speciality. I went in there prepared to buy one of each item but ended up with only 1 (begrudgingly) because I couldn’t justify paying those prices. Fans already have a hard enough time getting stock. I’m just so disappointed that a store like theirs could over charge their customers like that. Shame as I had high hopes for the place which I had only discovered the day before whilst trying desperately to get stock elsewhere when they weren’t open.

Great place, super friendly people :)

I visited what I was told to be a lovely community club. It's far from that. The people that work there are useless, they didn't explain anything, I felt like I was not wanted. The shop is over priced and the people are not very sociable. I over heard people talking about other members behind their backs. I have told my family and friends not to go there which is a shame as most of them are hardcore gamers. The leader was a small lady who I couldn't understand. That's not good leadership!! One man did come up and talk to me and started being crude!!! I am very disappointed with the place and I will not be returning. I only stayed for about 15 minutes due to these reasons.

Fantastic people, serving up high quality nerdity with a strong community spirit

I went there 26/02/22 and I loved it. The people are very polite and it was nice to see such a plesent club. Where people have different types of hobbies.
