Chaos City Comics

I had such a horrible experience and I would consider myself quite a fair and understanding individual. Firstly they advertised that they would be selling pokemon at a specific time and how many there is. On the day, along with other people who were also there for the same reason, we was told after hours of waiting that they weren’t going to sell it anymore. Now It’s your shop you can do what you want, however the women (employee) who strangely just started yelling at us when we simply asked if they will be selling it, she proceeds to just start yelling at us and just wasn’t answering any questions, just super rude and highly unprofessional. Later a guy came to de-escalate and was actually nice and told us the situation and that they would take our number down to be fair to us since we waited and let us know when they would sell it. I haven’t heard from them since. Highly unprofessional shop, would not recommend.

Arrived Thursday the 23rd for prismatic spc around 10pm 1st in line for the next day release (24th) it came to around 10am when a lady walked by opened up her shop and started having a go at us all saying it’s been cancelled and don’t know when it will come back in store, first of all it was never in store second of all it’s been a week and you can’t say within a week there’s nothing coming it’s an absolute lie, she said we stressed her out when we didn’t do anything and I also have voice recording evidence of how she was towards me and 5 others that day. To make everyone look good she’s took our names and numbers expecting us to feel some sort of relief, however it’s been a week yet nothing about prismatic spc the gut feeling of lying to customers is an absolute disgrace saying they had only 6 of them on order but got cancelled. At the end of the day we are buying customers she also said if I see you sell these online me and my family will come looking for you so not only did she get rude to us for waiting outside the shop but she also sent us threat warnings of what she was going to do if it was resold for more than the price given at £89.99.

Fantastic comic store, who have done their utmost in managing the huge influx of Pokémon customers recently, especially managing out people trying to resell the product, and ensuring that as many people get to enjoy the product as much as possible.

I love this place! So organised, well stocked and very friendly staff. Best place in London for cheap back issues

Very nice comic shop. Marina who was managing the operation today was attentive, knowledgeable and pleasantly fun. A large selection of back issues down stairs and some GN bargains, with a considerable amount of new stock available. Sone interesting silver age items and a few unexpected signed or unusual items on the wall.
