Great restaurant in Bangor! Delicious food from starter to dessert, everything was excellent. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, and the fact that the place is pet-friendly makes it even better. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely spot on breakfast and a great place to start the day in Bangor. The food is simple, honest, and done properly. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, soft and silky, sitting on good quality toast with just the right amount of seasoning. The hash browns were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, and the beans were rich and comforting, exactly how they should be. You can tell everything is freshly prepared and cooked with care. Portions are generous without being over the top, and the plate feels balanced rather than rushed or thrown together. Coffee was excellent too, smooth and well made. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and efficient without hovering. It feels like a place that cares about what it serves and the people it serves it to. If you’re in Bangor and want a proper breakfast or brunch done right, this place is well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We had a late lunch around 2:00pm and it was a nice, calm atmosphere in Bwyd Da. I had the steak frites on my mind but it was close choice between the Hog Roast bap as well! My partner and I were beyond pleased with our meal, plus belly pork bites, leaving clean plates! Our server was welcoming and attentive. We felt the prices definitely matched the quality of the food provided. Diolch yn fawr! We’ll definitely be back ❤️

I don't know what to say other than WOW. Sh1t a duck sideways that was possibly the best Sunday beef dinner I've had to this day. I'm a foodie and know a good roast and this is up at the top. I've had the amazing avocado and salmon with poached eggs here and that was mind blowing and orgasmic on the taste buds too. Then let's not forget those toffee apple lattes too 🫠. Do yourself a favour and just come try it, set those taste buds alight with flavour, feel that mouth water as you enjoy all the flavours. My pics don't do it justice, but it's a start. The staff are absolutely amazing, the cleanliness spot on, open serving area let's you see the hard work and love that goes into the food and we'll, I don't know what else to say. You just have to try it.
