Becks Collects

We had such a lovely experience at Becks Collects in Barnsley! Kyle was absolutely lovely, really friendly and welcoming, and was brilliant with the kids. All the staff are lovely, It’s so nice to come across staff who genuinely take the time to chat to the kids, get them excited and make them feel involved. The kids absolutely loved it and we’ll definitely be back! Would highly recommend Becks Collects to anyone, especially if you’ve got little collectors who love Pokémon! ⭐

Great little trading card shop. The reception was done with growlith and arcanine pillows and throws. Super friendly staff. And moderately priced merchandise. Great place to have a look at while your in Barnsley even if your not a collector or just starting off. 💯👍

Pros: • Variety of cards, sometimes hard to obtain ones as well. • Sometimes descently priced compared to online shops. Cons: • Often expensive or overcharged because they aren't with TPC. • Sold custom (not legitimate) cards and placed them in the binders alongside real ones, without clearly listing as custom. • Inconsistent pricing across cards, often grabbed from a brief eBay search. • Prices of sealed boxes (even newly released sets) can easily rival that of a scalper's price.

This shop is really nice and have the cards like vintages and other expansion. It might takes about 2 - 3 hours to look all the cards. The lady staff at the counter is really nice, and she knows what she is doing. She helped me find the Chansey in a min. I already went to Card Empire at Manchester and I was not pleased as this shop.

Great shop in a well developed area. Really nice selection of cards compared to card shops in other neighbouring cities. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I brought some cards in for trade and got a great deal. The gentleman doing the card valuations was fair but firm with his pricing and Beth was very friendly, accommodating and patient with my indecisiveness of what cards to choose. Thanks guys, I look forward to visiting again. ✌🏼
